Everyones different! … 26th September

September 27, 2018

Re-reading my last post I concluded a couple of things. Firstly, I should have realised that the popular spots would be busy on the first decent fishing day in weeks.
Secondly, everyone has a right to fish the way they prefer, even if it is barbaric and unsporting.

Today, I was reminded exactly why “I” love FlyFishing.

The hypnotic rattle of my loaded waistcoat as I trudged along the footpath.
The gentle rustle of the Autumn canopy. The roars and the whispers of running water.
That stumbling, clattering wade to reach the desired spot.
The anticipation…

Currently, Wild Brown Trout are resplendent in their spawning colours. Every single Trout is subtly different in colour and spotting pattern and today, I got to enjoy lots of stunning variations.

So, to celebrate the beauty of the late season Brownie, this post will have less words and more pictures.
