On Sunday, I went in search of my first legal Dee Grayling of the season. With the river at a good height and with more heavy rain forecast for Sunday night and Monday, I figured I would take advantage of the fast shrinking window of opportunity.
The conditions were heavy and humid and when the rain arrived mid afternoon, it became even more uncomfortable. I think the fish were feeling it too as I saw only a handful of rises all day. It was tricky but after several fly and venue changes, I eventually found a few Grayling.
Many thanks Trevor for a brilliant day. The old saying was proved wrong on Sunday you can teach an old dog new tricks. Steve and had a good laugh over your blog.
Thanks again Keith
