Today I had the pleasure of guiding Mike, a new fellow Corwen and District Angling Club member. We chose a beat that he had never fished and focussed on dry fly and duo presentation. He’d also had an issue with ‘missing’ takes so we set about trying to solve that too.

 

The conditions weren’t ideal and the wind added an additional challenge but after a few tweaks, Mike was making some beautiful fly deliveries. Initially, there were a few missed takes but we were well on the way to rectifying that by the time his new PB Grayling came along. Good angling sir!
