Soul Brother…3rd August

August 14, 2018

It’s easy to lose touch with people even though these days we have so many more ways to communicate. Whereas once a phone call or a letter was acceptable as a valid attempt to contact someone, this has now been diminished to a text or a ‘like’ on Facebook. We are busier and it takes effort to be close.

My brother Steve is a musician and table tennis coach. We use social media to stay in touch and see each other occasionally but quality time is scarce compared to growing up in the same space and seeing each other every day.

I’ve been badgering him for a while to come and immerse himself in my world for a couple of days and eventually we got it organised.

The drive to the river saw two grown men whinging about the state of the country and the lack of respect and moral fibre shown by the todays youth.

The fishing saw two big kids playing in the river.

Thanks Bro x
