A Week of Ups and Downs … 8th-15th August

August 17, 2020

Last week was an exceptional week in fishing terms. 5 of the 7 days were spent on a river either guiding or fishing and I was fortunate to be in the company of both novice and expert flyfishers.

The rivers have been up and down ‘like a lady of the nights undergarments’ and condition-wise, this week we’ve encountered just about everything including baking heat and violent thunderstorms. The water went from low and crystal clear to high and coloured and back again and we searched the surface and trawled the riverbed in equal measure.

Here are just a few pictures from this weeks outings.
