The Yorkshire Gales … 17th August

August 22, 2017

Two years ago, we joined the Bradford City Angling Association as previously, we have purchased day tickets to fish when we’ve been up visiting North Yorkshire.
The BCAA have stretches on some of the classic Yorkshire rivers, namely the Aire, the Wharfe, the Ure, the Swale and the Ribble and it’s all available for the price of a ham sandwich in a Cheshire farm shop.

Unfortunately, since pledging our allegiance to the BCAA, we haven’t been able to fish any of its waters due to the conditions on our visits.
This time, it rained heavily the night before our arrival and that coupled with the gale force winds, scuppered our plans for the next two days.

Should be fishable the day after we leave…
